Was scanning an original Color and Trim book when I came across this insert that showed the factory totals for each color and some popular options for the 1972 model year. From those documents we can figure out that there was 775 TX9 (Black) Barracudas in 1972. Compared to 2,232 TB3 (Basin Street Blue). One of the rarest factory colors would be HT6 (Mojave Tan Met) at 166 barracudas.
