This hint may be for others who are gluing to the roof. Unless you live in the Far North, anything glued to the roof should be glued with 3M Super 90 adhesive. That has the highest temperature release point. I found out years ago when the new cool headliner in my '64Dog came down one sunny day. Called 3M to complain, was told my upholsterer had used 80 instead of 90, they were right.
