The sticker is attached to the letter. I imagine you could peel it off and stick it on the damper. Then hit with some clear paint. As for where it was made, my guess is Australia. PowerBond is a brand name for Dayco.

About the paint, Dayco Australia's website shows all of their dampers painted black. Why the Summit catalog shows them as shiny metal colored is beyond me.
