Ok looks like it's likely overspray from the repaint. I was looking at the wrong set of on bushings and brackets and thought they had no overspray on them. The ones from my car do...And it's old red to the point of turning brown. Thanks for the repaint overspray thought. Gave me the idea to go double check my bushings and brackets. :-) I know this is off the topic but if I post a pic or two of the trunk mat, would someone be able to decode the date that is inked on the bottom of it?
