More than me, you've been there, done that. My friend Jay Brown was meticulous about always building equal length. Then someone told him smooth bends are more important than equal length. He didn't really believe it. He has his own dyno, so he did back to back tests. He reports to me that equal length didn't make any more power. But you have your own experience, go with what you know.
