I check my book this morning. It is a 2016 version of Ridged Hitch parts book that was updated late in 2016.

None of the Dodge truck listings for a front receiver note an issue with tow hooks, and that is one area they highlight as a possible issue. It did note that some of the Dodge trucks would need a front fascia trimmed or removed.

The front receivers are designed and rated to pull a fully loaded full sized pickup truck with GVW of 9,000+ lbs with a winch mounted on a plate pinned in the receiver hitch. That means a 9,000 lbs truck can be pulled by winch from the receiver hitch. The addition or not, of tow hooks apparently does not effect the capacity of the receiver hitch on the Dodge trucks.

At a quick glance, the suggested retail price of a front receiver hitch is in the $250 range, depending on the size of the truck or mounting requirements of the truck. I did not look up a specific Dodge truck. Gene
