Most modern 5x114 rims ([censored]-mustang) run on a +38mm offset - 1 1/2 inches, some are more, +40 - 44 seem to be regular sizes for the nissan boys

so at +38 a 12" would be 7 1/2" backspace and an 11 would be 7"

could be a nice "cheap" way of doing a mock up for sizing if you can find some cheapies on craigslist
