Someone was selling this fender tag on eBay, it has the RS23 meaning it's a 67 GTX. It was my understanding that there should also be a "5" below the "F" on the tag, second line down.

On a side note, one of my fathers 67 coronet RT cars has the "3" below the "F" but not the other car. Both are real 67 coronet RT cars with the Chrysler historical documents to back them up.

Is there a reason why some cars got the 3 or the 5 stamped below the F like most GTX and Coronet RT cars?

I always thought that's what told you it was a GTX or RT aside from the WS or RS vin designation on the tag.
