Driving at 70 mph that's about all that you're gonna get with a stock truck.

The best I ever got with that era Ram 1500 4wd with a 5.9 V8 was 14 mpg on a good day, but usually it was 13 mpg.

It's still better than the 8-10 mpg that I get with my 99 Ram 2500 V10 truck.
