It's done all the time. You can put solid rollers on a hydraulic core. It's not even a new thing. Been done for years. It will make more HP, RPM higher and be just as reliable.

Screw hydraulic lifters. All of them.

Lash it at .002 and go.

does the cam have to be a roller core to do this ?
