I think your intake choice is fine. It even has the FI bosses built into it. You stated the heads are already ported to maxwedge so you should be pretty close to a port match or better with that intake, since its ports are a little smaller then MW.

Seems you just need someone to install a fuel rails and bungs. Since the bosses are already there, I bet its something you could do yourself with a little research.

With FI I would definitely Keep that intake. But if you decide you don't want it, I can take it off your hands
