The only downsides i've found are no dipstick,retorqing the first couple times out, if your not using a motor plate it takes hemi mounts, AND the biggest downside is dealing with indy, (x2 on calling best machine). Also the horrific sounds it'll make heat cycling until its good and seasoned takes some getting used to. the weight off the nose... priceless! p.s. Watch your lifter link bar clearence to the back of the block. I heard the eagle cranks fit great, my callies needed re-clearenced.
