If the engine goes rearward, so does the trans mounting pad, and the headers or manifolds. It's a nice way to shift weight, as those cars were a bit light in the rear %-wise, but you'd be wise to mock it all up.
I would assume that the 1962 S6 K has a specific mounting tower, right?


Steve,the mounting surface on the S6 is flat hence the angled brackets to go to a V8.
