You said you're doing a 6.1. Never have I heard of lack of oil to the topend, ever. I have heard that a stock 6.1 pump will empty the stock pan above 7,000 rpm in about 11 seconds. Have you used a Hellcat pump on a 6.1? Has anyone? So since the factory pumps are now made by Melling supposedly anyway, I would just use the 10342 "Select" pump which I do use in my 6.1. Seems they are blueprinted and made with a little extra care. Maybe they are in the Hellcats.
