Back in the day (late '1990's-early 2000's), that race was totally off the chain. The pits were packed with cars, from front to back. All the big names were there, Tony Christian, Mike Moran, Pat Musi, etc. Lots of big name guys from the west coast and even Europe made the annual trek to that race. It was a great show. By the late 2000's however, the car count dropped, A LOT. I'm guessing it was the recession that caused it. Since then, it has never been the same. I haven't been there to spectate in a few years, but I might go this time. Hopefully more race cars will show up.

The Orlando area has tons of hotels.
