WOW!!! wish i had a project car like yours. The '68-'70 Charger R/Ts are the epitome of muscle cars (imho).

Full 1/4 panels were chosen in lieu of replacing the lower sections. The lowers were rusted/rotted pretty much from the front of the wheel openings to the rear of the panel. Also had some rust in the areas around the bottom of the rear window corners. With the improved quality of the newer replacment AMD full quarters we opted for this choice verus piecing all the new metal in these areas. We could have gone either way. However, I trust Vance's judgment on this as he is well recognized in the Mopar community as a top notch restorer.


Good call going with full 1/4s. I did the patch panel thing on the '68 Dart 20 years ago because full 1/4s were not available (except $$$$ NOS). It held up well, but have recently installed AMDs full 1/4s...so much nicer.
