Just received word that Mopar Super Stock Legend and Innovator Jere Stahl passed peacefully in his sleep last night. As many of you know Jere has been battling Cancer for the last few years. I received a text from him last night that it was alright for a group of us to go up and see him while going to carlisle. Jere is known for his days in the early years of Super Stock In his battles with Grumpy Jenkins. His Hemi Belvederes where almost unbeatable as he won every NHRA Super Stock Eliminator event in 1966, a feat that has never been duplicated. He was also the owner of Stahl Total Tuned Headers.
