Well 7 hours hours later the transmission is in. Did what you said and had to grind a little more on the starter cutout. It needs a little more but I put bolts in and tightened them up evenly and slowly and it went right in.

I will never buy another JW Ultrabell ever again. This was the worst experience ever and they are not cheap. And the lower engine mount hole had to be retapped to boot.
