I had a 6al burn out between when I drove the car this past Friday night and 8:00 on Saturday morning. Of course that would have been the most inconvenient time, as the potential buyer who was meeting me at 9am couldn't hear the car run.

After a new coil swap and the "spark test" with green and violet wires I was able to determine the MSD module was toast.

A few hours later (after lunch and outside projects) it was up and running on the Orange Box - it stands to reason that I put in the MSD because the orange box are known to suddenly fail, and then the MSD dies as I'm trying to sell the car - it lasted 10 years, but less than 1,500 miles.

Does anyone have experience with MSD repairing the units, or should I just buy a new one?
