Yes the lifters should go back on the same lobes.I have changed them and not done it and have had luck.That was years ago though when it seems they made quality parts.Today i would either buy new cam and lifters or just lifters.Depends if you like the cam you have.Rocky
I dont know the first thing about cams and lifters. I wouldnt know where to start if I needed to replace either of them. Id like to keep and re-use all the parts I have if possible. I though putting new lifters on an old cam is just as bad as putting the wrong re-used lifter on the wrong lobe, no?
