If you put the header in place in the engine compartment (roughly) before lowering the engine it is much easier. No jacking the engine after install required. Just lower the engine slowly and make sure everything is in place as lowered. Once in place, hook up the headers. That is my experience with TTI's at least.


Yep, done it by myself 7-8 times. Be patient. Lower the engine slowly...1/2" at a time. A wiggle here and a shove there and they'll go. With the 2"+ primary tube race headers, sometimes it helps to have the car 2 feet off the ground (yes, you read that right) before you start and/or drop down the center link off the idler/pitman arms.
