I'm looking for my dad's original 1969 T5 Bronze Superbee. My dad ordered and bought the car new at Peters Dodge in Milwaukee WI. The car was raced at Union Grove Dragaway from day 1 till my dad sold it in 1981 to a guy named Kenny. Kenny raced the car till about 1986 or 1987 at Union Grove as well and he sold it because he had a acid dipped 72 cuda he was running. Kenny wouldn't tell me where the car was. Kenny blew up the original 383 and he put in a built 440 with a big cam and a dominator carb, good for 10's in the quarter.

I was able to get into touch with the owner after Kenny named Jerry. Jerry is from West Allis and he bought the car to get his kids into the hobby. Needless to say they never got into it and Jerry lost interest in the Superbee. Before Jerry sold the car he drove it on the street and he cut the cage out of it, but he left the paint scheme alone. Around the late 90's early 2000's Jerry listed the car online and a guy from Southern Michigan came and bought the car with cash. He told Jerry that he was going to put a 383 back into the car. Jerry was able to get me the VIN WM21H9G219905.

Its a 383 4 speed post coupe, color of T5, no vinyl top, black buckets with no console, rear defrost, am 8 track, power bulge hood, manual steering and brakes, black bumble bee stripe. My dad had it custom painted around 1974. My dad also had a original 6 pack hood on it along with a dana 60 and hemi 4 speed in it. Here are some pics

This is at the world of wheels Milwaukee 77 or 78 when my dad owned it

Here is when Kenny owned the car, he had "BEEWARE" painted on the quarter and Burleigh Super Shell (Sheldon Greckers Shell Station with King Kong) painted on the front fenders

If you have or know someone who has this car, please get them in touch with me. Rick 414-840-3221 or rickblaha@yahoo.com
