I work for Vehicle Fleet co. and many times we have states come out to put reconstructed vehicle VIN #'s on units or State assigned VIN#'s
There should be more then just the Dash VIN pate on your ride.
Check the package tray, radiator support , fire wall or frame rail if you have any factory rails left
