I just pull off the cable nuts and squish the braided line over, it's tough to get the braided line over the threaded end at first, but it will go. And it works.





That's a great idea I have mine run out up to the starter where it makes a u-turn and is wire tied to the starter and then back to the trans.Steel braid next time.
