Besides, I tried the buckle. First, it really doesn't do a good job of pulling the window up after the belt goes around all those corners. Second, it is hard on the paint where the belt rubs. And lastly,that buckle flopping around the top of the door when the window is down, isn't cool.

The elastic and a snap is just a better way to go, in my opinion.

Race cars didn't run with the window down. I think 1970, West Virginia Hemi, the first time I noticed what held the window up. Of course he could have done that himself. Saw plenty of the Darts and Cudas in 68-69 but to busy looking at the engine LOL and wishing I had one of them. Still can't afford one!
