Numbers are approximate and not actual. Numbers are for cars built for sale in the US:
440's: ~ 3,357 hard tops & 145 convertibles
Hemis: ~ 56 hard tops and 2 convertibles
I was hoping there would be more of a pinpointed total for 440HP, 4 speed, 3.54 Dana cars.
Those are the available
US spec. numbers for what you asked, the problem with Chrysler's OPTION numbers is they are based on percentages, which on a production car like a '69 GTX hardtop (14,048) those numbers are +/- 7 units.
RS23L9 w/4-spd (28.5%) = 4,004 +/- 7
RS23L9 w/4-spd & 3.54s (23.9%) = 3,357 +/- 7
RS23L9 w/4-spd & 4.10s (4.5%) = 632 +/- 7
barring human error (on Chrysler's or my part) "advanced" number crunching would yield:
RS23L9 w/4-spd = 4,000 +/- 3
RS23L9 w/4-spd & 3.54s = 3,361 +/- 3RS23L9 w/4-spd & 4.10s = 636 +/- 3
