That was quick !
Here is a table including my estimated calculations trying to account for the dia of the hole and the strut contact area. 2.15" is my estimate of the total length between the contact locations. But the caliper measurement of the V to the hole is enough to ID the ratio.

For example:
2.15/3.8 - 0.325 = 0.241
variance = 0.241 - 0.255 = -0.014
