I have been looking at this list and have to wonder if the convertibles have a slightly stiffer spring rate more so than a coupe. The wheel housing is actually more shallow at the top due to the convertible top clearance needed. So logically you would think the spring rate would try to counter the wheel from getting even close to bottoming out up at the top of the wheel house. Plus, I would think a convertible is slightly heavier that a coupe?

I had to get my opinion out there. What the real difference is between a convertible spring and the hardtop, I would love to know (except for the explanation Detroit spring said, its a bushing not installed in one vs the other). There is a consistent part number difference between them.
