Is there evidence of any inspector's paint remaining on the studs - from both sides?

Wanted to add, Moparts.com is still the BEST, major props go out to our mods and care takers.

The pics are of the rear axle studs from the June, 1970 Hamtramk Barracuda I have. If they are the original axles to my car's rear, then may be typical of what to expect when viewing the survivor and OE class of E bodys . Maybe even early '71's.

Definitely hold off on taking my earlier advice above - not until you get an agreed on answer here, yes keep it original. '71's are my favorite year, good for you my man.
