I'm going to break it in with my current performer rpm and 750cfm carb and stock rockers. The eventual plan is to use 2 to3/to4 hybrid turbos. The pistons are forged trws. I have another tunnel ram base with injector bungs already installed. The carbs will be converted to be throttle bodys only. I am in the process of building a megasquirt controller now, along with a stimulator.
I agree the tunnel ram would leave bottom end power on the table with the carbs. I am going to give them a try though, just for grins. The reason for the converter is to help the tturbos spool.
Boost should end up being around 12 pounds with the wastegates I have.
I have another driver. After I have the mechanicals and turbo efi lined out, the truck is getting torn down completely for chassis rebuild, rewire, paint and interior.
Saturday night cruises, rod runs and an occasional trip to the strip will be its purpose.
