I would hafta agree with just using a wrench on the adjuster.
You really don't need a torque wrench.
If you just use the wrench, and tighten it down snug, to the drum, your going to find out it's going to be so damm close to 72 inch pounds anyway, it's not going to make any difference.

When i first started doing Torqueflites, i broke out the torque wrench, and put it to use, then one day did an experiment, and found it not necessary to go to the toolbox drawer to break out the inch pound torque wrench.

If you buy the socket, and have an inch pound torque wrench, then go for it.
