Gen 3 2003 and up, but there are different versions of that too (gen 1 5.7- 6.1 and Gen 2 2009 and up Eagle engines and then there is the Apachie too..)

The early Mopar different brand Hemi motors, Chrysler, Desoto and Dodge would be first gen, the race Hemi motors that came out in 1964 are Gen two motors also and the later new gen 3 hemi are the lastest version. We won't count the first Hemi type motors Chrysler made for aircraft use during WW11
