Andrewh master A Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 8,713	the external swap is quite common. just get a 70 and up vr from the parts store for 15 bucks and find a 12 volt key on source. the wiring diagram to convert a single field vr to dual is in the tech archives. Just wire up your alt the same, and it will work fine.
