Agreed, don't clear. It doesn't adhere to metal well and will peel, making you redo. Stripping anodizing is a PITA, but I did it on the hood lip and headlight surrounds on my 67 rt six years ago, fixed dings, sanded and polished. The sanding was a [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean]. Ended up with tommy John surgery ask I needed to do it by hand. Went 600, 800, 1000, 1500, then rouge... all trim wanted over a grand.. I love it better than the dull look, but not OEM show..
