I guess I doing something wrong. Been driving Dodges forever and rarely have a problem with them. First new truck was an '89 Shelby Dakota which I kept for nearly 20 years, basically oil changes, tires and batteries was all that was ever done to it.

My '98 1500 has 159k on the clock and has very little go wrong with it. Kegger gasket in the intake valley, heater and a/c cores (did both last year) and it just rusted out a brake line on the axle yesterday.

True its 2WD, the front wheel bearings and ball joints are far more reliable than their 4WD counterparts.

I understand the frustration though, I just purchased a new Challenger as a daily driver last year so I could work less on cars and spend more time with the family.
