If I'm not mistaken, that number is pretty large. I remember the difference between between the 727 & 904 is 20 horsepower parasitic drag, with the 904 being lower drag. 904 surely has to weigh less also (large part of the lower drag). A concern on the 904 is the thinner neck on the torque converter snout, they can crack under harsh abuse (I cracked one in high school.   ) If you are aware of this, you should be able to avoid the situation and trouble.
