Iron VS aluminum is no significant power difference if both heads are the same otherwise. Aluminum ALLOWS more compression it does not NEED more compression. That myth has been disproved many times.

Unless traction is a big problem for you then I would sell the eddys and use the money to have Brian port the iron heads and still have money in my pocket.

I am building a motor for my own Dakota R/T with iron heads and will just do everything I can to make it hook, if I have to down the road I will step up to aluminum but only after I exhaust all other reaonable posibilities, then it will probably be in the form of a new style hemi and selling my current 392 stroker. I have 10.2 compression, tight quench, magnum heads and a small cam (stock 5.9) and no detonation.
