My car is a street car thats not as fast as many of you but I do use the Hoosier 30 x 9 radial slick on the track and street and I do not run tubes and do not screw them to the rim. I have been running the radial slicks like this about 4 or 5 years now with never a problem. I figure it works great for me and if I do get a nail or something in the tire I can plug it where I am since I carry tire plugs and a kit with me. Also the Hoosier radial slicks do not loose any air as even when sitting in the garage from November to late March it never needs air when I bring it back out. Ron
