Looking to use it for some SCCA autocrossing and track days in the spring. Going to try to squeeze in a SCCA Starting Line session and get some serious seat time and pointers to improve my driving. I'm most likely going to be busy the second half of this year with other stuff so the car hobby will be on hold.


I cant honestly see where it would make sense to upgrade an R/T when for pennies on the dollar you can just get the Hellcat Charger that has a 204mph topend and 15.4" 2 piece rotors with 6 piston Brembos already on it? Honestly how much money would you save? What is the price difference between a track pack R/T and a $63K Hellcat? Are planning on a no frills R/T with just the standard options?
EDIT: I just looked and I guess you can get a decently appointed R/T with road and track package for under $40K, $20K under a Hellcat. That does leave some money on the table, do they come with an 8 speed and paddle shifters though?
