A car like that has big wheelwells so you can go even larger than 27 inches of diameter. You can probably fit a 275/60-17 in the rear, not sure about the front. Perhaps a 275/50-17 will fit up there?
I agree. But I wanted to keep all tires the same size so went with 275-40-17 for autocross. I kept the Cragers and BFG's on the shelf, but really like driving with the Nittos far better!
