This is a joke- right? Hey, '07 5.9 was much better than a 6.7 with the DPF and EGR. Why are you having so much trouble? I've had my '04 since new and have nothing but praise for it! Momma just got a new 'rango RT, and while it's fast, there's nothing like the torque of the big C. Fuel consumption? no comparison! I think it's worth it to bite the bullet and fix the truck, put extra fuel filtration, fix the known trouble spots etc.

I had a '92 and while that was a great truck and simple, the '04 is leaps and bounds. I hear the current crop is leaps and bounds past the '04, but you can keep the extra emissions and electronics!
I did have the special front leafs in the '92, I thought skyjacker made them. That was a huge improvement!
