Is there a diagnostic check to determine if it is an injector leaking into the crankcase?

I used some fluorescent dye for fuel/oil and pour it into the fuel filter canister then run the truck with the valve cover off with a black light to see which injector was leaking. Makes a bit of a mess but you can spot it pretty quickly.
