You will need a narrow rack from ART which is five inches narrower if you plan to use stock lower control arms. Disc brakes are required for tie rod end location. The stock lower control arms are very long compared to the MII system, requiring the short rack for proper bump steer. There is no cheap way out on the shock conversion. You can go single adjustable QA1s for about $420 for the pair with springs.
