I had bought a 2002 2wd Dakota, club cab with a 4.7, 5 speed, 3.55 gears and stock chrome R/T wheels. My friend bought the same truck, but a Dakota R/T with a 360, auto, and 3.92 gears. They were pretty close 0-100mph, but I would take him a half car or so about every time. I really liked the 4.7 manual much better. We swapped trucks and he came away liking the "snottiness" of the 4.7 better also.
