My 83 D150 has had a wicked wheel hop issue since I put it together, imagine sitting on a jack hammer when you mash the loud pedal enough to break 'em loose. Because of that I seldom beat it hard since I'm too afraid of destroying the driveshaft or rear end. Finally nailed it hard on pavement again the other day and looking at the marks I thought them interesting as I've never seen 'scalloped' burn out marks before. Both wheels spinning (at least intermittently) it feels like hook/spin/hook/spin and looks the same on pavement. Any ideas on the easiest fix or do I just go on being easy on it?
