Fluid Dampers work on Diesels with a lower RPM. My machinist did an experiment and a fluidamper was very incosistant when he spun a crank up 3 different times with the same crank, and damper. Would never give him any of the same readings. The jejjy is never in the same place when its spun. it settles in a different place when it stops, and they always seem to have an air pocket in them for expantion.
