That's what I did... an old guy in town had one and I paid him $20 to use it. It can be done another way, but it took the socket, a breaker bar and a cheater pipe to break my old one loose. I'd hate to try that with a pipe wrench. if you are just going back together with clean new stuff, it's still nice to have the right tool for the job. Some parts houses have them for loaners....
