All these tires are s speed rated so that's only good to 112mph. I ran on the 165R15 tires for a long time and never had a problem. Lots of FAST cars around here are on them too. The speed rating thing is for sustained speeds, not for short bursts like in drag racing. Yes I have 165r15 on my car too, no problems in the eights so far.
