Scott is right, that was the Chrysler plan on wheels, if it got hubcaps then the wheels were body color, any other wheel covers and you got black wheels. Of course with Chrysler you can never say never, but you also must take a look at the broadcast sheet to prove anything with wheels/wheel covers. If you have known the car since new then we have to believe you, if not then the wheel cover could have been put on at anytime if the original owner (or any other owner) didn't like the hubcaps.
