The original Chrysler shop manual is vague about the wiring to the carb solenoid on a 71 383 4-speed car (Holley R-6191A; non-air grabber). I think the original engine harness is still in the car and unaltered. There is a white round female end plug on the harness --did that possibly goes to the carb solenoid? The original solenoid has two 18 gauge wires coming off and according to the manual, one is to the distributor ground switch and the other to solenoid lead. Can anyone clarify what is correct and how to get it back to original? Thanks in advance.
